Dr. Park says “I want patients to realize that there are alternatives to traditional surgery. I perform these procedures safely and comfortably on-site, in our state-of-the-art outpatient interventional suite using some of the most advanced imaging equipment available.”

Interventional Radiology is the only specialty that is defined by a series of minimally invasive techniques using image-guided tools to navigate the body to deliver direct and precise solutions without surgery. We can accomplish this through a small needle puncture, with minimal discomfort and quick recovery.

Peter Park, MD is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist. A recognized “Top Doc” by New Jersey Magazine, Dr. Park's greatest satisfaction lies in caring for his patients. His goal is to provide them with the highest level of expertise as well as continuity of care.

Dr. Park has been dedicated to providing comprehensive vascular care for over 20 years. During his career, he helped perform the first aortic aneurysm stent graft procedure at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center. He was also the first in our region to perform vertebroplasty of spinal compression fractures, fibroid embolization, radiofrequency ablation of tumors, and has maintained a twenty-year record of venous access without complication.

Dr. Park is committed to research and physician education. After completing his surgical internship and radiology residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, he continued his training in the Interventional Radiology fellowship program at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, where he served on the faculty. He has co-authored many articles in the field of interventional radiology and has trained and given lectures extensively to medical students, residents and professionals.
