Why Choose Our Practice
At Vascular & Interventional Specialists, PC, we are dedicated to providing cutting-edge, minimally invasive solutions that prioritize patient comfort and rapid recovery. We believe that many medical conditions can be treated with advanced, non-surgical techniques, offering a powerful alternative to traditional surgery.
Our specialty, Interventional Radiology, is defined by a series of minimally invasive techniques that use real-time image guidance to navigate the body and deliver direct, targeted solutions. Unlike traditional surgery, we can accomplish this through a small needle puncture, which results in minimal discomfort, no large incisions, and a significantly quicker recovery. This approach is central to all our services, from vein ablations and revascularization procedures to embolizations.
We are committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Our team of vascular specialists are experts in delivering compassionate, state-of-the-art care in a comfortable outpatient setting. We invite you to discover the difference that a minimally invasive approach can make for your health and well-being.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients, and same-day consultations are available.
Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
In many cases, you can schedule directly without a referral, especially for vein evaluations or consultations. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for certain procedures. Our team will help you determine what’s needed based on your insurance coverage.
How long will my appointment or procedure take?
Most consultations last about 30 to 60 minutes. Many procedures are performed in our outpatient center and typically take 1–2 hours, including preparation. Depending on the type of procedure, you may be asked to stay a bit longer for observation and recovery before going home. You’ll receive specific instructions based on your procedure before your appointment.
What can I expect post-procedure?
The type of post-procedure care you require will depend on the specific treatment you receive. Our clinical care team will thoroughly review all post-procedure instructions with you before you leave and provide a detailed written guide for your reference at home. In addition, a member of our team will follow up with you in the days following your procedure to check on your recovery and address any questions or concerns. We also encourage all of our patients to contact our office at any time if they have additional questions or would like to discuss any aspect of their recovery.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
We understand that plans can change. We kindly ask that you notify our office as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled procedure may be subject to a fee. Providing advance notice allows us to accommodate other patients in need of care and ensure the best possible scheduling for everyone.
What insurances do you accept, and will they cover my visit?
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and all major commercial insurance plans. Our dedicated billing team will work directly with your insurance provider to verify your coverage and manage all necessary documentation on your behalf.
What type of diagnostic vascular testings do you offer?
For your convenience, we offer a range of in-office vascular diagnostic tests, allowing you to receive a comprehensive evaluation on the same day as your testing. These studies help us accurately assess your vascular health and guide personalized treatment plans. Some of the tests we provide include Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) measurements, venous insufficiency ultrasound, peripheral arterial ultrasound, carotid doppler studies, and angiography.
