Varicose Veins
Vein disorders such as varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) occur when leg veins can’t efficiently return blood to the heart, often due to weakened or damaged valves. This leads to blood pooling, causing enlarged veins, swelling, discomfort, and sometimes skin changes or ulcers. Though often seen as cosmetic, untreated venous disease can worsen and affect your quality of life.
